Visited Throwback Tavern in Pembroke Pines and honestly had such a fun experience. The place has a really cool retro vibe with neon lights, music, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes it perfect for hanging out with friends or grabbing late-night food. The whole concept feels different from the usual sports bar and the ambiance alone makes you want to come back. We started with the Campfire Fries and these completely surprised me in the best way. The sweet potato waffle fries with toasted marshmallows on top were sweet, salty, crispy, and super addictive. Definitely one of the most unique appetizers I’ve tried in South Florida. We also ordered the wings and fries, and the wings came out hot, crispy, and full of flavor with really good sauces on the side. You can tell the food is made fresh. The Lady Guava Hot Dog was another favorite. I wasn’t expecting to love the guava combination as much as I did, but it worked perfectly and gave the hot dog such a creative twist. The Buffalo Chicken Flatbread was also delicious, loaded with cheesy buffalo chicken, crispy toppings, and the perfect amount of sauce without feeling too heavy. For dessert, the Gimme A Break milkshake was amazing

Throwback Tavern was such a vibe from the moment we walked in! The whole place has a fun, nostalgic atmosphere with great music, cool decor, and a laid back feel that makes you want to stay awhile. The food was AMAZING. The standout for me was definitely the Parmesan waffle truffle fries, crispy, flavorful, and honestly addictive. Every bite was perfectly seasoned. The burgers were also juicy and packed with flavor. Service was great, drinks were on point, and overall it was just a really fun experience. Definitely one of those spots you’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the whole vibe at **Throwback Tavern**! It’s a fantastic 90s-themed spot where the music is actually at a perfect level—you can enjoy the 90s hits while still having a conversation with the person next to you. The food came out fast and everything was delicious: * **Apps:** The **Bangin Waffle Fries** were awesome (honestly, we were full just on those!) and the **Mozzarella Moons** were great. * **Entrees:** The **Throwback Smash Burger** was juicy and flavorful. I’m personally not a huge fan of caramelized onions, but the burger was still excellent. The **Chicken Wings** were also very juicy—we tried the Thai Chili and Mango Habanero flavors. * **Kids:** The kids loved their **tenders and fries**; the portions were generous and the chicken was nice and juicy. They also really enjoyed the **Dirty Soda**. * **Dessert:** We finished with the **brownie**, which was served warm and paired perfectly with the ice cream. The layout is great too, with a small arcade that kept the kids entertained and a bar area serving beer, wine, and **BuzzBalls**. A huge shoutout to our waitress! If you ever wanted to time travel back to the 90s without giving up your adult money Throwback Tavern in Pembroke Pines is the spot. From the second you walk in, BOOM neon lights, a giant boombox behind the bar like it’s about to drop a mixtape, and vibes that make you feel like you should be wearing baggy jeans and arguing about who rewound the VHS. Even the tables are talking to you with classic movie quotes mine hit me with You’re killing me, Smalls! which felt very personal once I saw the bill later on. Now let’s talk about my poor financial decisions I showed up with a group of 8. My kids their boyfriends… their girlfriends basically a full cast of a teenage Netflix series. Somehow I became the executive sponsor of the night. Nobody warned me this place comes with a Dad pays automatic feature. But listen… the food? Worth every painful dollar. The burgers are not playing around. These things are juicy, messy, and built like they’ve got something to prove. That mac & cheese burger? That’s not food that’s a life choice. Throwback Tavern is a fantastic theme restaurant with a great setup inspired by the 80s and 90s. The atmosphere is fun and well designed, with a lot of nostalgic details everywhere you look. The menu has funny and creative names that fit the theme perfectly. There are games for kids, including board games, books, and DVDs, which makes it a great place for families. The food is very good, the prices are very accessible, and the full bar is a nice bonus. The staff service is amazing and very friendly. Totally recommended.
